Hi
Please can anyone tell me the best company for Motorhome Insurance. My parents are looking to purchase a motorhome, and I'm just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the best company to use.
Also, if my Father has no claims for his car and then wants to insure the motorhome, would he declare his no claims or would it be that he would be classed as having no no claims. (He wouldnt be wanting to transfer his car no claims over)
Thank you very much

He could try the Caravan Club, but there are loads of other companies that can provide cover. The MH will have to earn its own NCD, but he might get a starter discount.0

when I bought my first insurance for the MH I used Safegard, which I think is through Swinton Ins. Safegard quote you for insurance and include uk and Europe breakdown cover. Used them for 2 years. Now with Comfort Insurance. Best suggestion is to buy MMM magazine from newsagent and look in the back and go for online quotes.
Safegard allowed me to duplicate my NCB onto the MH as I already had an insured car with max ncb (not with them).
As with the other suggestion try the Caravan Club or the Camping and Caravanning Club. I'm a member of the latter.0 -
Thank you for your replies I'll try Safeguard re the duplicate no claims and have a shop around.
Thanks again0
