Arnova Tablet information required

Hi I am thinking of buying my daughter a Arnova 10 G2 Tablet and currently Carphonewarehouse sell them at £139 and that's about my budget! However whilst surfing the net, I want her to be able to play games such as Moshi Monsters and Star Doll. We have tried to play these games on my other daughters Ipod Touch, but it wont work and says you need a Flash player and we are unable to download this. So if I purchase this Arnova Tablet will this be able to play these games.

Help would be appreciated.....

Thx

Amanda.

  • A quick google showed me that other people are having problems with playing Moshi monsters on this tablet, the thing that would worry me though is this tablet does not access the Android market, but Appslib market, there is a way round this through something called arctools,I would do a bit of research through google.

    Hi,
I bought an Arnova 10 G2 from HMV last month. It comes installed with Flash version 10.3

It has WiFi to connect to a wireless network for Internet access. Very easy to set up.

The game web sites that you mention access fine on mine but I have not tried to play the games.

As mentioned, the stock ROM ( The operating system and settings) will not be able to access Google Market Place but it comes with an App called “AppsLib” which is contains thousands of apps.

There are ways of replacing the ROM that will make the tablet more efficient and access the full Market Place but that is another story.

Personally, I think that it is a good piece of kit for the price. The battery life is brilliant and the display crisp.

NO HDMI port so no TV connection on this model as stated on last video.

    Best of luck
