Henry Airo Brush attachment.........

Has anyone tried the Airo Brush attachment that goes with little ole Henry?

Ive got the ordinary head that comes with Henry, but it doesnt seem to pick up the dog hair from the carpet properly. I know that there is another head available for it and wondered if anyone has used one and if they are any good.

Any comments (good or bad) gratefully recieved!

TIA

I have the turbo head on my Henry and it's brilliant at picking up dog hair. It's not very robust though, I broke the first one I had just knocking against the furniture. The manufacturers replaced it free of charge!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • i love henry
  • i work for the company that makes them, and i recomend it 100% its a good attatchment

i have it and think its good. My dogs are short haired though, if it picks up long hair (my mums dog visited at xmas) then you sometimes have to unravel it from the roller. But would still recommend it.

I have a short coated German Shepherd, do you think it will pick her hair up properly?
I have laminate floors downstairs so not a problem, but i have a textured carpet upstairs and its quite difficult to get the hairs up on suction alone. I have borrowed a Dyson DC04 and it works a treat on the carpet, so wasnt sure whether to by a re-con second hand DC04 or buy the Airo brush for Henry.

    Suggestions please!

  • I recommend the Turbo brush, it costs around £25 and worth every penny.
I have long haired cats and it removes their moult no problem.

  • The post is a little old, but as it came up in my search results I guess other people must still be finding this thread too.

I should explain I run a domestic cleaning service company in the North of England. So this is how I have loads of cleaning info and advice.

    Just for those that dont know, the Airo Brush and Turbo Brush are two very distinct items;

Airo Brush - powered by the air being sucked by the vac (£20-£30)
Turbo Brush - is a 24v independently powered brush head (£40+)

The Airo will fit most vacs with the right diameter tubing, but the Turbo has very specific fittings which I think are unique to Numatic (Henry) vacuums.

I use the Airo brush on all my Numatics, its a cheap and very effective upgrade; easy more effective cleaning, less arm and back ache too!

Someone else posted they buy from Cleanstore - so do I - good service and good prices on most things.
