Drive the deal

I have just bought a new car from drivethedeal.com, there are some fantastic reductions on the special offers page eg £6000 off a new Galaxy.
The one I bought had £3250 knocked off the dealers price, obviously i have only just ordered it so it remains to be seen if their service is up to scratch.
I am not connected in any way to this company, but now mine is in the bag I thought I would let everyone else know;)

Agree, i have brought a car before from https://www.drivethedeal.com, a great company. You only give your money to the dealer, which is the best way to do business.
  • I bought a new Mercedes through Drivethedeal.com I couldn't fault them on their service.

We bought a car through drivethedeal, and had a really good experience throughout.

I have dealt with drivethedeal from a dealers side of things and they were easy to deal with from my end. The are one of the longest established brokers and have a very good reputation.
  • I am thinking of ordering a peugoet coupe through this broker but am a little hesitant. I want the 2.2L SE but want the RT4 satnav. If i pay the deposit, and the dealer says i can only have the RT3 satnav, can i claim my deposit back. You dont seem to have an invoice until you give your credit card details so they can take the £500 deposit.

Call them and do it over the phone. Make it a condition of purchase that you get the Satnav system you want.

    Thanks will do that
  • Got a call from the dealer on Friday, we were talking about delivery dates and she said we are obviously really busy with the new March plate deliveries and was i going anywhere near the dealership, if i could collect i would be compensated.I asked how much and she said she would find out.
How much would be reasonable in lieu of delivery? The dealer is about 150 miles away.

    Thanks

Shouldn't think you will get more than £150 - £200 off as thats roughly what the add on the prioce for delivery.

It costs around £120 to get one of their own guys to drive the car to your door. It costs around £200 to get the car transported to the local garage so that there's no mileage on the clock.

Personally, I would not accept anything other than the usual service of delivery to your local garage.

It really depends on how well you know the area where your car is going to need to be picked up from, how comfortable you are driving other cars, especially new cars, and how much inconvinience it is to you to go and pick it up.

For me, its never been worth it.
