Need to find somewhere cheap to stay for a week

Hi,

I've been having trouble recently with a gang of youths, attacking me and the house, threatening and assulting me and scaring my kids.

I am trying to move asap but struggling.

It's now the weekend again and then half term and I don't think me or the kids can cope with much more abuse.

I need to find somewhere cheap to stay for 10 days, I am not really fussed where, aslong as its not a tent!

Does anyone know where I could look at? Havens dont seem to be open, I cant afford Butlins.

Do Hostels take families?

Thanks

You need to be ringing the police, you may come back and your house will be trashed. If they are frightening you and the kids then do something about it.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

which area are you looking? admittedly police are taking more notice of your type of abuse.
i can understand your need to escape.

i believe yha hostels include children
  • I have been calling the polic I had them out 5 times yesterday alone. They've told the group to pack it in but they keep coming back. :(

I'm doing a Diary, spoken to the council and the housing association, Police have stepped up the patrols in the area but it just seems to be making it worse.

I'd rather come home to find the house trashed than be here when they break in.

  • Maybe worth looking on ebay under holdiays and travel and seeing if there's something that suits you - there might be a last minute cancellation being sold cheap.
    Hope situation gets sorted soon.
    good luck

That must be a terrible situation to be in. No one should have to live their lives in fear in this day and age.

Hope the council can help you and you sort a holiday out for yourself.

Are you on benefits, sometimes charities can hlep.

I would rather you push for this move and saved what money you have for moving. No-one needs to put up with being scared in their own home. Phone the police again and every time they come back. Do you or your kids know them ? name names to the rozzers and insist they do something . Good luck .Theres your MP too if you have no luck

In stead of phoning the police about the kids,,,next time state that you are suffering continual harrassment.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Do you have a rough idea on the area you want to go to or can travel to?
  • Maybe contact social services? You shouldn't have to put up with this.
