Help with Supanet problem

Hi,
we are trying to move to a new broadband supplier since Supanet have been very poor, in my opinion. We have tried to get a MAC code in the past and been refused. Now that they have to provide one, since 14th. Feb., we have been told by them that they are charging a £50 administration fee for this. We know that they aren't allowed to charge for the actual code but they seem to have gotten around this by calling it and admin. fee. We are desperate to get rid of them but short of just cancelling the contract and going elsewhere without a MAC code we don't know what to do. I'm sure as Hell not paying them anymore money though We will also have to wait for new connections, BT etc.so it will be a nuisance to do this. Does anyone have any ideas. Oh yes and OFCOM's website just says complain to the provider. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and the call centre person just said,"No I won't put you through" What can I say!!

I forgot to add when we rang back to speak to the fourth call centre operative to try to get some help we just had some people on the other end telling each other jokes and we couldn't get through. We rang back 2/3 times and the same thing happened. What to do we seem to be stuck in this nightmare senario

The ISP are not to charge for the MAC, contact Ofcom if they dont give you the MAC.0

I would just stop payment and move on and if they query it tell them they broke their contract by giving a duff service.0
