Jus to let you know this is against Facebook's rules & could result in having your accounts removed (not sure if they've ever done it (but they have removed accounts for not having real names)proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

yes they are cracking down on duplicate accounts / accounts not in real names. Especially if people get wind that it is not genuine. A lot more people now are quick to report. It is easy to use just one account you just separate comping friends into a separate list and post comps visible to them only.
As for it recommending family/friends if they are in your email contact list thats probably where the links come from£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Facebook now has face recognition, you know like they used to to the tag your friend come up in the top corner of photos? it probably recognises your face in your friends photos if you have a picture of you as your profile, therefore bringing them up as mutual friends. scary i know!

Is this in the new timeline tho cos i dont use that.i messed about for ages trying to clear my wall of all the comps it was really winding people up when they were trolling through loads of my stuff..when u like for instance how do you just like to a comping friends list ?? doesnt seem to give any options when liking facebook pages ..Facebook settings are at best puzzling as they are0 -
you have to separate your friends into lists (my comping friends aree all listed under Comping MSE) and no it's not specific to Timeline.
Have a read of THIS and see if it helps.
Then when your friends are sorted into lists and you sign up for a page on facebook it usually says in bottom corner ...posts by this page are visable to...then change that from friends to your comping list and only those on your comping list will be able to see it.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
I would really appreciate it if anyone could add me as I have no friends at all on Facebook to share competitions with (it is my one and only account). My name is Linda Smyth. I'm a real newbie with Facebook and not sure how to add friends but if anyone would like me to add them I will if they are willing to tell me how to do it. I asked my two sons but both of them hate the idea of Facebook and neither of them have an account.0
