Calling fb compers

Hi all

after trying to please my facebook friends by freeing up my wall from comps ive opened a second facebook profile only then it was put to me that they may not consider me in comps when i only have 1 other comping buddy on there ergo technically not "sharing" correctly perhaps.I dont know whether this is correct or not but just incase if anyone would consider adding me on their facebook for comping id appreciate it ..I assume this is ok to post but if it isnt i apologise in advance

i had heard they are clamping down on this so make sure they dont shut your account down.

what i did was move anyone on there i comp with into a separate group like friends family etc so its only them i annoy lol

I just did the same and I'm kinda spooked about facebook.

I literally set up this account for comps, added the OP and now it's suggesting most of my family as friends, how does it know :undecided :huh:

Will they be able to see my fake profile on their lists?

I'm not sure how it knows, its done the same with me too :think:

If you are friends with yourself (your normal facebook account) it will suggest mutual friends which may be family or friends

I'm in the same position, I only have one FB friend on my 'comping' account. Anyone wantng to 'expand' their friends list, please feel free to pm me to arrange friends requests

That I could understand, but I don't have another facebook account. And I used my comping only email address to set my account up with.

Facebook accesses your e-mail contacts and then suggests them as mutual friends. I got spooked when I first set up my account also when it kept coming up with people I worked with years ago even though they lived miles away as I still had one of them in my e-mail contact list. Second link suggests there was a tick box to disable this but I can't remember seeing one.
