PPI Claim - still waiting after 5 months!

I had a letter from my bank back in September 2011 with a settlement offer. I accepted and received the 8% interest amount in October but am still waiting for the lump sum 
I have contacted my PPI provider many times (again today!) and don't really seem to be getting anywhere.
I should of received the money within 21 days from my original settlement letter but its now been five months and I'm still getting charged the PPI on my loan payments.
Can anyone help or advise what action I should take next?? Its getting stupid and its costing me alot in phone calls!!!

Who is this with? Lloyds and Barclays are dragging their heels with these payouts i am afraid,contact the FOS and put a complaint in about the time that it is taking to send the redress,that is all you can do at the moment.
