Car Insurance as a lodger

I'm back in the UK very shortly and will be needing to sort out my car insurance. I don't know where I'll be living at the moment but wherever it is, it will probably be for a few months at a time rather than a permanent solution.

I'm looking at the best way to do my car insurance. I was thinking of having it registered at my parents house where I have all my post delivered and then inform the company that it will be kept elsewhere overnight.

Is this the best way?

  • Yes thats the best way. The insurance company just need a mailing address and the location where the vehicle will be kept if its different to your mailing address.
