Im coming to that time where my £600, 1 year old laptop is breaking on me, Its just about holding together.

Its been to Afghan and many exercise with me.

I think im gonna *drop* it *accidentally* and claim on my laptop as it cost loads get it fixed currently. Im with Towergate Wilsons and im just curious.... Has anybody ever claimed something like this with them? or even with other companies, how fast and well do they help you?

How much is the excess?

Is it new for old cover?

Does it cover laptops for "accidential damage"?


What's the penalty for fraud? :-)

For less than £200, you can pick up a small netbook with an extended life battery.

If you required a dvd-rw you could remove your old drive, and put it into a usb dvd drive caddy.

It just takes time to adapt to the small keyboard/screen etc.
