Help on what to do over queried assignment marks

i was handed my assignments back today and on one i had to do a series of tasks etc

they inlcuded a marking sheet with the questions i was meant to do and a point system if i had done it

Now i have come across a question that is not on the original task sheet yet it is on the marking sheet saying i have not done it, and they have not gave me any marks for it, its included in the total so my mark is lower than it should be because of this phantom question?

Can they dock marks off me if i havent done a question that they have supposedly said was there when it isn't?

Does that make sense?

Who would be the best person to see if any over this?

Thanks

i would go to the tutor that issued the assignment first. Just show them the assignment questions and the marking sheet. It should be easy for them to see this.

I am sure it will have happened to everyone else as well.

    i hope it gets resolved.

definately - those are 4 marks. I am sure you did well anyway but to someone that could be the difference between a pass and a fail.

If it was a mistake they should fix it - even if it was a mistake in your understand (which I doubt) at least you will learn from it.

    Definately investigate. :D
