Really?
Total excl. VAT VAT Rate Total incl. VAT
£246.38 20.00 % £295.66
Total Delivery Charge £18.33 20.00 % £22.00
Total Price £264.71 £317.65
I think you will find it is £295.66 excluding Delivery....unless you have a free delivery code.
Are we reviewing DABS or the Fujitsu AH530??
Can you point me towards any review that alludes to the AH530 having a poor build quality?
Oh dear TakeThis - you're at it again!
If you care to look at the Dell outlet website you may notice that delivery is free at the moment - go have a look!
If you read what I said, I said that I have seen the particular model, and I was commenting on that, besides the hdd fault, I found the screen lid very flimsy - in fact I used to recommend Fujitsu's but had too many coming back with faults when only 2-3 years old - is this good enough for you?. And just in case you still having probem, I gave you a link so you could see the reviews on Dabs ,,,Okay?0 -
Haha - kwality with a kapital K0

New? Used? I'd try and find a well-specced refurb for that price.
Saw this the other day, and despite the stupidly high RRP, it's a good price for the spec
Saw this thread and my OH is looking for sub-£400, and I tried to buy this Asus laptop. The order went through with confirmations and then I was e-mailed with a 'payment' has not gone through', when I phoned they said it was out of stock and didn't know when more would be coming in.
A big shame, as it was exactly what he was looking for. Thanks for posting about it, though. Wish I'd seen it sooner.0 -

Pity, although not surprised...it was very good spec for the money
Can you reserve and collect in store?0 -

Ha! I wanted to do that in the first place, nothing in stock in stores around his area (London), nor mine (Cheshire). I guess it was a good offer! Anyway, thanks, think I will leave him to get to a Comet or Curry's himself now. Thanks for your help (and apologies to the OP for intervening - but it did look like a good little machine)0 -

No problem. This isn't too bad either0 -

Since I got the price directly from your link, I would say that I did have a look.
Perhaps it was just my imagination0 -
Now that is a Celeron processor, only 2 USB ports, 0.3MP webcam, lacking HD Graphics, no expansion ports, no HDMI, no built in Bluetooth....
I would pay the £20 extra for the Fujitsu.0 -

A laptop developing a fault after two to three years...well I never....
I was rather looking for evidence of someone, other than yourself, who claims that the build quality of the AH530 is poor.
Surely their must be at least one link on the whole of the Innernet?
I am inclined to disbelieve you, unless you can show me some evidence that the build quality is worse than any other in it's price range.0
