freedom finance in Gibraltar

Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me please. I received a letter from FSCS in sept last year informing me that I was eligible to reclaim the PPI that was mis-sold to me by freedom finance. in January I decided and had time to fill the form in and sent it off with all the details I had. 1 week later I received a phone call from a woman from Dolotte who was dealing with my case on behalf of FSCS and wanted to no if I had made any claims on the PPI which I had not. I asked her how strong was the claim she informed me that I should not have any problems with the claim and in her opinion it should be plain sailing.
This morning I have received a letter from FSCS stating that they can not investigate my claim any further as the company that sold me the PPI is called bespoke finance limited (also known as Karacus) and they are based in Gibraltar and is outside the UK jurisdiction. They have gave me the address but do I carry on with it or am I wasting my time and just put a line under it. I no there's some clever financial people on here that can help and i am asking for advice in what to do next.
Thanks Alan

sorry for the delay but have phoned the fsc Gibraltar and they have informed me that the company in question is also in administration and unlikely to help me in my quest to retrieve my PPI back. Just wondering if there is a draft letter i could copy to send to them and hopefully set the ball rolling.
    Thanks

You have no one to send the complaint to now, seems like you are at a dead end.

Give FOS a ring and ask if they can help you in anyway.

well thanks for all your help amersall but it looks like it all stops here for me. I took your advice and rang the FOS today and spoke to a very helpful bloke but at the end of it all he said the only way I could go was to proceed with court proceedings done by myself and I would end up having to pays court costs and all fees if I was to lose. In a nutshell its not worth the risk. the fscs told me I was entitled to reclaim £3,500 back but looks like I am now just going to brush it under the carpet. The company is not regulated so the FOS would not go near it as well as its out of the UK jurisdiction so pretty stuffed but at least I tried so again Thanks
