Can anyone advise what income is used when calculating CT benefit

Mum and Dad get the following

Mum- DLA - HRC and HRM
Incapacity Benefit - 94.25 p/w

Dad - ESA - £38.70 p/w
Carers Allowance - £55.55 p/w
DLA - HRM and LRC

They have about £300 capital.

They will want to know all the income, but the only income that is counted is:

Your mums IB, Dads CA and I suspect the ESA is C (contributions) not IR (income Related) so that would be counted.

Also the capital wouldnt come into account

we had a calculator similar to this on our councils website, but stragely, it has been taken down. They now only provide details of the income limits at which the benefit is payable in full.
