Tiscali To Sky BB, A Few Q's..........

I want to cencel my tiscali broadband and transfer to the sky max 16mb. I rang tiscali and they have emailed me my MAC code.

I need to now ring up sky and order my BB. I have got a few questions......

Will there be a period where i will be without internet access?

How long will it take once i ring sky for my to be on Sky BB?

Tiscali told me i have to ring back to stop them billing me, what is this about?

Their lead times are probably a couple of weeks.

They want you to inform them that you are ending the service with them 'a formal cancelation'.

It depends if either of the providers are using a LLU exchange. The recent rules regarding MAC's don't seem to cover LLU situations!

just a quick quesyion is this phone and bb combined and how much to sky charge plus is it unilimited iinternet acces and phone calls?

Thinking of changing if i can find someone cheaper than tiscali.

I am currently with NTL FREEDOM dial up (no cable in area) and have tahk unlimited and 2mb broadband £24.99 a month - excludes mobile calls 01870 etc.
I have sky tv (2 mixes) £15.00 a month. Total £39.99 a month

If I go for sky package and go for sky talk unlimited I shall have sky tv (6 mix) broadband 8mb, phone unlimited for £31.00.
