Hi - we are emigrating to Australia this year and would be grateful for any advice/recommends regarding transferring our monies into Australian dollars (best rates) and also savings accounts to hold the Australian dollars until we are in Australia.
Many thanks
Nina

If you open a Nationwide Current account and put the money in there you can withdraw it from the ATMs in Aus and get the inter bank exchange rate (the best there is) with no loading.
That might be a solution until you open Aus bank accounts and start getting your salary paid in locally.0
