    If there's no activity on the account for 18 months care4 will donate any money in it to charity.

    Outrageous given that childcare vouchers can be used up to the age of 15 for childcare or wrap around care. I know people who used them for football schemes in the Summer holidays for 14 year olds.

    I'm also with care4 and if this is the case I think it's outrageous! As people have already said, it's your money and you should be able to keep it there until you need it for after-school clubs or something.

    I'm going to check through my T&Cs this weekend and might email them to complain if this is the case...

    If this is indeed the case (and I think it's outrageous if true) then a way around this would be to ensure that there is *some* activity on the account each year - e.g. send the child to a holiday club for a day or two each summer.
