Outrageous given that childcare vouchers can be used up to the age of 15 for childcare or wrap around care. I know people who used them for football schemes in the Summer holidays for 14 year olds.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm also with care4 and if this is the case I think it's outrageous! As people have already said, it's your money and you should be able to keep it there until you need it for after-school clubs or something.
I'm going to check through my T&Cs this weekend and might email them to complain if this is the case...0 -
If this is indeed the case (and I think it's outrageous if true) then a way around this would be to ensure that there is *some* activity on the account each year - e.g. send the child to a holiday club for a day or two each summer.If there's no activity on the account for 18 months care4 will donate any money in it to charity.0
