Hopefully a turn in my run of bad luck, well with something bad happening between the wins but still.

I received one winning message on facebook saying i've won a Betty Blythe Valentines hamper and will be receiving that on Monday!

went to sort the car out for MOT and discovered the fog lights wont turn on which means definite fail, could have fixed it ourselves but had to get car to garage expensive...

when i got back i received a WEM saying i've won the Tampax something or rather that was on glamour.com and i can only find this competition but the WEM said "once we've received all your prizes we'll send it out to you, but the comp says £350 shopping spree? shrug, am looking forward to receiving it none the less.


This year for me has been the worst start ever, i genuinely believe i'm a bloody unlucky person, it's hard to express how at the beginning of the year you always say "this year must be better than the last, new year, new start" and also i kept saying this is suppose to be my year as my chinese zodiac (p.s i'm chinese) is the dragon and this year is the year of the dragon but theres been no prosperous signs! let me list the things that make me believe that:-
- my laptop keeps overheating and turning off by itself
- my kettle won't work (which is a big deal for me as i run on tea)
- all the jobs i apply for fall through
- the jobs that i do get turn out really badly (in terms of things going wrong which aren't my fault) and i end up feeling really upset at the end of the day)
- while on the way across england for a meeting one early morning, only less than 1mile away from our flat, some idiot crashes into us almost running over an old man on a zebra crossing, we had no choice but to drive on after getting his details (3 hours drive with utter shock was not nice)
- and the latest one, 5 minutes after i finished a snowbunny, a 7 year old boy comes and destroys my 3 hours work, theres more to the story than as it sounds, Full note here on my facebook
- and of course stupid little other things that i won't mention

i know some of these things seem petty but my life is run by routine and having bad things happen so close together obviously amplifies it all.

So in a way this isn't just a very deep sincere thank you but a hope that things can only get better.

Hi cutiemish well done on your prizes. Sorry to hear of all your problems lately. Sometimes we have to endure bad times to really appreciate the good times. I know how annoying each of these problems are on their own its when they all build up it can become overwhelming. Take it easy and hopefully things will improve for you. Think positive. All the best.
