Big DIY Question

Options
Hi

Can anyone please tell me if this is possible - I have around 10k to spend on doing up my flat - just in general is it possible to buy new internal doors, new skirtings, new outer door and windows (4), new carpet / laminate flooring and new kitchen and new bathroom on this budget?? The flat is livable so it's not a major urgency but while I have the cash I'd like to try and get as much done as possible.

Thanks :T

  • If you ring around different companys and get loads of quotes, you WILL get it done in this budget. I know so because A bloke i plaster for has just done a 3 bed house for £8000.What would be a big big help is if you and do some of the work yourself,That will keep the cost down loads. Use Bnq,Builders merchants,Wickes places like that. Some will give you a pretty good discount if you get a fare few bits from them.
    Good luck.
  • yes I'd say so, if you go for cheaper kitchens/ bathroom suites etc. :)
