Big DIY Question

Hi

Can anyone please tell me if this is possible - I have around 10k to spend on doing up my flat - just in general is it possible to buy new internal doors, new skirtings, new outer door and windows (4), new carpet / laminate flooring and new kitchen and new bathroom on this budget?? The flat is livable so it's not a major urgency but while I have the cash I'd like to try and get as much done as possible.

If you ring around different companys and get loads of quotes, you WILL get it done in this budget. I know so because A bloke i plaster for has just done a 3 bed house for £8000.What would be a big big help is if you and do some of the work yourself,That will keep the cost down loads. Use Bnq,Builders merchants,Wickes places like that.Some will give you a pretty good discount if you get a fare few bits from them.

yes I'd say so, if you go for cheaper kitchens/ bathroom suites etc.
