Eon BOILER COVER IS THIS FAIR OR WORTH IT

just wondering if im making a mountain out of a molehill here. ive had homecare breakdown cover with Eon for three years now. last week i phoned them, before we had any weather problems, because im having water pressure trouble leaving my radiators and water go cold. i was told that it would be three week before anyone could come out to mend it. even though im due for a boiler check it can not be done at the same time. now im worried that due to the bad weather coming, would i keep been put at the back of the queue before mine is fixed. im turning my boiler on and off 4 times a day now to get the heating working it wont last for another two week before it wont come on at all.

    Hi dithedancer,

    I'm sorry that you haven't been able to have an appointment any sooner.

    This may be down to the fact that you do still have heating and hot water, so it won't be classed as an emergency.

    Is there any vulnerability at the property?

    Have you called again just to see if there have been any cancellations?

    Three weeks is totally amazing, god help if you need a part aswell they seem to have the worlds slowest logistics. You really get what you pay for in this market.

    Use a local independent GSR RGI for an annual service and emergency call out if required. Put the savings in the bank.
