On rightmove, what is the difference between a property that is under offer and one that is sold subject to contract?
Could I go and view/put offers on either property if I wanted to?

They are different EAs speak for the same thing. It's possible with an under offer that someone has made an acceptable offer but hasn't sold, but I've been 'under offer' plenty of times without this being the case.
Most EAs will discourage viewings. If you make an offer they are obliged to pass it on, but you must remember how you would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. I wouldn't do it but I will happily call to get the low-down and to give them my details if the deal falls through.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ok, great thanks DG

I haven't seen one that I want to offer on, but I was just curious whether the two states were different.
Thanks again.0
