I just had to tell you my son Paul has passed his driving test today, it was his first test so i am very very proud of him.

As stjanet said, point out that now the real learning begins. Try to make sure he doesn't suddenly relax, and lose all the good habits he picked up learning. If he's enthusiastic about driving, maybe suggest Pass Plus or IAM?

Seriousley, though, I think anyone passing these days, does very well - not sure how they cope with the amount of traffic on the roads, these days!!
