Ppi failure - yorkshire bank :(

Hi, I'm hoping someone on here can help! I took out a credit card with Yorkshire Bank a number of years ago and have since paid it off. Checking back on statement's it shows that I had been paying PPI. I wrote to the bank stating that I thought I had been miss-sold this insurance. They have now come back and said, in a rather rude/abrupt manner, along with copies of credit card application, that when I applied for the card, I had ticked the box to take PPI showing that I accepted the terms and conditions of this insurance, and have no grounds to make a complaint
(looking at the application it looks like I've only signed the paperwork and not filed the application in as it looks nothing like my handwriting and also the bank signed the application they day after me as the dates are different).
They've also said that the matter is now closed and if I want to take my complaint further I need to do so within 6 months by writing to the financial ombudsman, which I shall be doing, but am not sure if I need to try the bank 1 last time? Any help/advice would be appriciated. Thank you

They probably won't correspond with you further
FOS it and add any other reasons for mis sell that apply to you. Don't leave anything out and at the same time don't make up false statements, good luck but you will be in for a long wait. Don't lose hope yet

Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid
