Co-op £200 switch payout - When?

Hi all,

Does anyone know when exactly the co-op make the £200 payment for switching current accounts last autumn? I switched in Nov. I now have three statements shown in my account, but no switching bonus payment as yet. Anyone got it? Anyone remember the conditions?

Thanks
Ant

"Within 4 months of meeting the qualifying criteria"

So if your first payment was Nov then March.

End of Feb at the earliest.

I've been asking myself the same question today and I've just rang the Co-operative customer services and, according to them, they've just started to do some payouts.

She literally told me to "keep an eye on my account" because IF I qualify I'll get the 200 pounds quite soon.

    Let's wait a little bit longer ;)

    My account was activated 07/11/11.

My wife opened an account as well but she hasn't received her incentive yet, although her account was activated a couple of days later. So I presume she will get it at the end of this week (fingers crossed)
  • Ah right excellant, i will have to check what date i recieved the letter. If any one else has activation dates i would be interested to see if you too have been payed out yet!!!!

    cheers

Note that the payment can be credited at anytime during the day. Mine was credited to my account at 15:20 in the afternoon.

Just another quick update. My wife has checked her account and basically, she opened the account 10/11/2011 and she did receive the payout 06/03/2012.

    Cheers,

I'm having a nightmare with the coop at the moment. Once my £200 arrives I'm off.

When I transferred accounts they put someone else's standing order onto my account. I spotted it straight away and asked them to remove it. A payment had already gone, which they returned. 3 months later and another payment went. I reported it to them, and their response was to take another payment! They then refunded those two, but didn't call me back to say what was happening. Then a week later it happens again. This time they did call back saying they couldn't reverse it until the following day, but whilst they were on the phone I checked online and actually they had reversed it. They have no clue what's going on.

Worse still, they are actively preventing me from making a complaint over the phone. Three times I have clearly stated that I wish to make a formal complaint. At the end of the last call I was told that a complaint case would be opened on my behalf "tomorrow or the day after". I suspect this is why their complaints ratings are so good. They won't actually let me register a complaint on their books. They also seem to think that extending an overdraft is equivalent to returning my money which has been removed from my account (in credit at all times) without my permission. I have explained three times to them that taking money from my account without authorisation is theft. They refuse to accept that. Apparently clerical incompetance is quite different - well they should know!

Just want my £200. then I'm off.

....I wish I hadn't bothered with this bank......opened 14/11/2011 and no incentive payment yet. I've done four £800 payments and transferred so's via their switching service. I've rang their customer services and they basically lied each time...it will be in your account in a few days , it will be in the account between 20th-29th February, payments have been despatched on 24th February. I rang their switching dept and they said a query has arisen re an amendment I made to the so's and that I may not now get the incentive payment.( however another staff member in another department said this was wrong and I would get the incentive) The so's have gone through for three months. I sent a letter of complaint on 22/2 and of course had no reply. I've also just noticed on the switching confrmation letter......."all payments should be transferred by 22/12/2012.....by Christmas then!! this is the hardest £200 I've ever earned!!
