Rightmove Floor plans?

I notice a new type of floor plan appearing on rightmove recently, not the usual black and white ones but more like graphic/computerised ones.

They are incredibly hard to read, the writing is too small and the picture is unclear.

What do others think of them.

I hate it when theres no floor plan or there are doors obviously missing but theres no point putting one on if people can see what rooms are meant to be what

Depends on the estate agent really, most of the plans for houses around my area are just the standard looking black and white ones although I do see a few weird 3D plans pop up. Sometimes I do see the odd plan which is completely unreadable though.

I entirely agree Puddy. Dislike them with a vengeance, they distort the info. Why do they have to fix something that ain't broke?
  • I agree Puddy, I hate them too - very difficult to interpret and much harder to visualise what you could do with the space available :(

I agree my letting agent uses them and I think they are really bad, quite distorted and hard to read.

Let's hope that some agents are reading this thread.

Agreed. Okay if large, clear rooms, but hard to see when they add things like loos, bathrooms, cupboards, wardrobes, etc. I prefer a flat plan - or the ability to move the new plans 360 degs. And agree you can't always see the sizes as it can blur/distort.
