How do you prove it? I'm all confused

Trust me, I'm easily confused
. I have three loans, all of which I was told at the time that I needed the ppi to help them go through. These are what I'm claimimg for. Through reading this very helpfull thread, lots of people have claimed successfully giving the same reason as mine. On the other hand, people asking for advice re claiming are being told only if you can prove it. How can you prove what verbal advice was given though? Thanks.

You can't
All you can do is be as truthful as you can remember. If you state something that is incorrect they may tell you and support it with either a transcript or recording of the telephone conversation. If it was done face to face in branch then it it highly unlikely that either the bank or yourself can prove what was stated verbally.
It is not your job to prove anything really (unless you can), all you can do is lodge your complaint with whatever evidence you can supply to back it up.
Is this the sole reason why you are complaining? You say they were loans, was the PPI front loaded? if so this is a strong reason.
Below is beamerguy's list of reasons for mis sale
Answer any of these questions with no and you fully claim back all monies plus interest
*Did YOUR BANK explain the full cost of the PPI when you took out the loan?
*Did you specifically ask YOUR BANK for PPI?
*Did YOUR BANK make clear that PPI was optional?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about your medical history?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about any existing payment cover?
*Did you know that YOUR BANK added a PPI policy to your loan?
*Do you think YOUR BANK treated you fairly?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you have any existing medical conditions?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you were entitled to sick pay from your employer?
*Did YOUR BANK add the PPI without your permission
If you answered no to any one of the above you could be owed thousands of pounds
Good luck

I disagree on a few*Did you specifically ask YOUR BANK for PPI?
You dont need to ask the bank for it. The bank can make you aware of it and then try and sell it to you. That was allowed.*Do you think YOUR BANK treated you fairly?
Not many people do in their eyes but realistically, it is not going to get a complaint upheld.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
