Dishwasher installed incorrectly!

I ordered a dishwasher from Argos and had it delivered and installed on Wednesday.... I put the DW on, but nothing was happening. I waited an hour or so, but still nothing!

I read the manual an it said that it was a cold feed.... the delivery people had installed it to the hot feed..... had they not read the manual???? I called Argos and they denied that the dishwasher was cold feed, and that none of the engineers knew that there were any cold feed dishwashers in the warehouse! Ugh.

Luckily my OH fitted it properly and it is now functionning well, the manufacturers suggested I called Argos again to complain, and I received the delivery charge and the installation fee back.

Just a warning!

Even if it was connected to the hot feed instead of the cold , it should have still filled. Or had they connected it to the wrong feed and even managed to leave that turned off to compound their stupidity ?

Who knows!! I'm just glad OH got it sorted and we have now been refunded for the delivery and connection charge.

They must've fitted it hot feed only and overwhelmed the poor dishwasher! We have now got a refund cheque coming in the mail for the delivery and installation charges.... flipping dozy whatsits who delivered it!!
