rbs want request for loan info in writing

Just spoken to rbs who need me to send a written request plus 2 photocopies of photographic id and 2 photocopies of proof of address before they send me info on my loans to check if ppi was added. Will need to get copies of dh's too as joint acc's and think one loan was just in his name.
I know I would have said no to ppi as would dh but the guy on phone said there have been cases when cust has said no then its been added anyway!! Not sure if it waste of time, guess it doesn't hurt to try

Quite possible but you would see it if it was and the monthly cost would have been higher. So, you would expect that to have raised a flag to you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
