hi
i have been a victim of telephony banking, how does a bank/firm deal with these casses, they do record all telephone calls????
as it does say "all calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes" or is this just a threat?
thanks

all calls are recorded, i find it hard to believe you was a victim of fraud though over the telephone, i'm not saying it doesnt happen but.. there is 2 levels of security, if someone managed to find out your basic details to access your account then they wont be able to transfer any money out of your account they could only check balances and do first party transfers etc, but if they got hold of your 5 digit telephone banking passcode, which is yours to keep confidential and safe.. then they could transfer money out of your account, so unfortunately you was either stupid enough to disclose that information or your chatting out of your hoop. :money:0 -
