Anyone had dealings with this website. I've got some old XBOX games that I want to trade but; don't know if I can trust them.

I've never heard of them, but after a quick search I can see no reviews confirming quality either way. They DO have a geographical address, though..... so for safety I would steer clear for now.0

The feedback for the Company seems quite good on the feefo review site,
and the prices seem quite fair. I will be using them for my childrens Gamecube games as none of the highstreet stores take them anymore.0 -
I have just had dealings with Gamesdrop Ltd., They did not honour the agreed amount payable for the games I sent them.
They stated that the games I sent them were US versions - despite the fact that all the games were purchased in the UK for the UK market.
I would be very wary about using them at all.
It would appear that they will say anything not to pay you the full amount.
The cheque that did finally arrive took almost 25 days to arrive, possibly prompted by the email I sent them threatening prosecution for theft under the "Theft (Ammendment) Act 0f 1996".
So, in recap..... use them at your own risk.0 -
I wish I'd seen this thread before I sent them my games!!
Sent them off 2 weeks ago and heard nothing - the live chat on the site is constantly unavailable and they have no other way to contact them except email which they are ignoring!!
My advice would be to steer well clear!xxx Nikki xxx0 -
Well surprise surprise - after ignoring all my other emails I emailed again today threatening to contact Trading Standards and to report them for theft if I didn't hear within 24 hours and all of a sudden they emailed me back to say they were checking my games!
Still to see if I actually get the money they promised!xxx Nikki xxx0 -
Steer well clear is my advice - I've been chasing a non-payment since October. I just get stonewalled - no response to emails, despite saying they will respond within 1 working day.0

Update - after saying I will contact Trading Standards, they have offered to pay by bank transfer - I'll update if/when it comes through!0
-
Update - the bank transfer came through OK.
They insisted the cheque had been sent, though, so they cancelled it and asked me to destroy it if it ever arrives.
So my impression of the company is that they are not fraudsters but their response to customer queries leaves a lot to be desired! I did email them when the cheque didn't arrive, and they didn't respond.
It's a shame I had to threaten them with trading standards to get their attention.0 -
I Registered with the site, i entered in the names off the games i wanted to sell, they sent me a few postage labels, and now im still waiting 19 days after i sent the package, with them saying it could be lost in the post, Will update this post often with any outcome on the matter.
IF YOU WERE TO USE THE SITE, DO NOT USE THERE LABEL, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR ITEMS SENT BY SIGNATURE REQUIRED POSTAGE, AND CHARGE THEM FOR THE POSTAGE.0 -
Ive used them a few times and all was ok0
