I have received a settlement offer from my lender which I am happy is correct. However, as the interest on the refund is taxable, would it be unreasonable to request further compensation to cover accountants fee's and the inconvinience of arranging a consultation with my accountant? Or is this likely to be rejected by my lender?
Any thoughts appreciated!

Yes. The free of charge complaints process clearly states that if you choose to use a third party to make your complaint or assist you with your complaint then it comes out of your own pocket.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
