Well i finally go my new pc up and running and decided as i spent 2 days trying and finally getting my screen resolution as i wanted it reg hack, to play a game i couldnt on my old system due to it locking up, dont think the graphics card was powerful enough.
installed the game and just decided to relax for a couple of hours playing it. only to find it telling me when i start it,

the program can't start because d3dx9_27.dll is missing from your computer.
but i have directx 11 on the windows 7 x64, surely directx 11 would take over from directx 9.

so my question is this Can i installed directx 9 aswell as having directx 11 installed? to be able to play the game.

New to windows 7, fan and long time user of windows xp.
according to this compatibility list its suppose to work on windows 7 64bit, http://www.overclockers.com.au/wiki/Windows7_Compatibility_List
