Need Advice on Who's Best?

I have recently switched bank accounts from Barclays due to eventually contacting CCCS re our debts. Therefore our Barclays accouint with ioverdraft is no longer an option (as it's included in our debts)
We switched to Alliance and Leicester but i have found them very unhelpful. I think it's because I'm so used to beingable to switch money between accounts on the internet and it moving straight away. A & L seem to want to wait 3 or 4 days for it to clear(even if just coming from my account to our joint account) Also Barclays used to let us draw against uncleared cheques. This prevented bank charges many a time. All I really want to know is do any of the other big banks let you switch straight away and also use uncleared funds.
