Do I leave a neg or neutral?

Hiya, I recived a pair of P'J s this week off ebay for my ds in the auction it stated

they have been worn but are in excellent condition

NOW they are not in an exellent condition I think they are in poor condition are blue and red are wash faded and the elastic has nearly all gone on the bottoms.

I emailed the seller a couple of days ago and have had no responce, here is the email.

Hiya, I recieved my item today of winnie the pooh p'js which was very quick delivery but I do not think that the description describes the pajamas as they are wash faded and the elastic has gone in the trouser part, your auction stated items worn but in exellent condition which to me they clearly are not.

I would not of bid on these if I had seen the item so I do not know what to do next as I will not dress my son in them.

Sarah

So what do I do just leave neg? This seller isnt a new seller has 258 100% feedback so am stunned that they havent replied, but they have left my feedback already so cant get negged back.

Help

Sarah x

  • if they arnt as described, and the seller does not offer a refund / valic expliantion then defo go for the negative feedback, if your worried about the seller leaving you one then wait till 89 days after the auction end!

I always go to squaretrade.com first and file a complaint there. It lets you input all the information and they act as a mediator for the transaction. If the seller has 100% then they are likely to want to get it resolved and a nudge from ST might just help.

If then you still get no joy then leave the neg. You have to be careful though because I think there is a time limit on how long you can leave it before you can not leave feedback any longer.

Does it depend on price or description?

I'd go with the mediator route btw. As a buyer.

They were not a huge amount BUT I wouldnt of bid 10p for them if I knew the accurate discription first and was bidding against someone else for them!

Seller has already left me positive feedback so am ok on that score anyway I will have a look at square trade tomorrow then

    Thanx Sarah x

There's no reason at all not to give them a negative. Stuff all this mediation nonsense. They've supplied mis-described stuff which they shouldn't have even attempted to sell at all (as they aren't really things you could wear, if they are worn out and the elastic's gone).

I would give it a bit longer for a response, you never know they seller may give you a refund. if it turns out he is adament not to give a refund and doesn't think he is in the wrong at all I would dish out the negative then.

if people never give out negatives then your fellow consumers out there will never know about the people they are buying from. the rating system is there for a reason so the community can decide.

To be fair, I don't know, (and never will) know who I buy from. That's just me defending buyers by the way. I've had a good few weeks buying from good sellers though. People that truested me when I had a little gold bell :D

I had one that I though was dodgy - just the opposite. It's all about time I suppose?

I think someone else asked a question but I can't view it at the moment. Brb
