Door glazing problem.

Looking for a bit of advice from any one in the know about a glazing problem with an interior door that I've bought.
The door is made by premdor and I'm very happy with the quality but the glass panel in the door is held in by plastic beading and has a plastic leading strip which appears to have been stuck to the glass(looks a bit cheap and doesn't do the door quality justice) which I would like to remove but I was wondering how easy could this be done.
Unfortunately it is not an option to return the doors so I was trying to find out if the above is possible without damaging the framework of the door.
thanks

Panic over decided to bite the bullet this afternoon and after cutting through the 'leading' it peeled off quite easily and using methylated spirits and a stanley blade I got rid of the glue! Result!!!!
