I've had an email and text saying that my roasting tins are ready for collection. My other orders for Christmas stuff have been cancelled. Has anyone actually been and collected anything yet?0

Reserved some of the Roasting Trays online and just had a phone call to say all gone !!
All went this morning when reduced to 10p apparently!
I can't believe that our small store would have sold out that fast, why would it let me reserve them if there was no stock!!
A letter of complaint going to Dunelm about this.
Not a great service, me thinks the staff will have grabbed them.
A complaint over something you never really wanted and only wanted because it was 10p.
So not only did you waste your 3 minutes filling your online trolley your actually going to write a letter and then get more annoyed when you get a generic response saying 'it was a clearance item and marked as such thus available while stocks last.'
You didnt get it on time, you lose, pipe down!! Cant believe people are willing to give Dunelm (a fantastic store with great products) a rollocking because they use the exact same system as most high street retailers regarding reserve and collect and they missed out on a 10p tea towel!
Ill be honest, i dont think dunelm are after your custom. Go elsewhere and the rest of the loyal dunelm customers can enjoy their service.0 -
O an hr9hr9, when you write the letter of complaint, will you post it on here. Need a giggle.0

I got an email yesterday saying mines ready for collection, oh is picking it up later on so will let you know if it's there or not!0 -
I've had two missed calls and on checking the number they were from Dunelm. Can I safely assume that my order is cancelled?
Oh well...it was worth a shot. Will just stick to shopping in store from now on
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Travelled 40 miles this morning to pick up quite a big order from K!rc4ldy. Was told she had no Christmas items in stock. A lie cos there was a basket beside the customer service till with Christmas 10p items in it. (all rubbish) She hadnt got round to phoning me yet to cancel. I called customer service and told them I'd travelled 40 miles so they are sending me a £20 gift card for my trouble. I've just received a 2nd email from P3rth saying my order (much smaller) is ready for collection. So I'm hoping the staff havent nicked off with my suff this time. I'll let you know.0

I've had 4 phone calls cancelling my four orders for Christmas stuff but one text confirming the roasting tins are ready for collection. So it looks as if they only ring you to cancel.0 -

Excuse me, how do you KNOW I don't need new oven tins??
I am complaining about their online service being USELESS, if I'd ordered expensive full price items and drove all the way there 6-7 mile to be told "sorry out of stock" I would be livid to say the least. What is the point in this service if it does NOT work.
If people complain then they will pull their socks up and make it work properly.
I will go out and buy new oven tins, but this is something I tend to put off until I can find them at a bargin price.
I use this money saving site to SAVE money in the long run.
Oh and BTW I decorated my living room last week and ventured to Dunelm and spent a small fortune on New Curtains and Cushions, even though they were from last seasons sale items.
So am I not a loyal Dunelm customer?
Oh and contacting their customer service is done via an online form, so NO I cannot copy it on here for your amusement.

I also went to the KDY store today to find no order. They did call me first thing though and left a message but I was already on my way there. It's not as far for me tho.I love MSE freebies and comps. Thanks posters0
