HI all,
i have sucsessfully claimed from LTSB and RBS,
i have also had a lot of other loans ect over the last 15 years,
looking through some very old bank statements before xmas i found loan account numbers for HFC and Barclays, sent off the complaint for both...now this is where im stuck!
HFC sent me a letter back a few days ago stating they are not upholing my complaint due to the loan account being closed over 6 years ago....bummer!! any ideas of what i should next?? do i just give up and roll over??
Barclays..... i sent the form in which they returned after 2 months stating not enough info, i then re wrote to them to look into, i then recieved a letter asking for my old address which i put in a letter with the loan account details i found on this very old bank statement, sent this back 1 1 12, not heard a thing back, have just rang quoting the ref THEY put on the previous letter sent to me......they dont know what im talking about, the twit on the phone told me to go into a branch with the letter THEY sent me ???????
What do i do next??? sorry for the woffle...thanks

Did you pay the ppi in with the loan monthly payment?if you did this was front loaded and a mis sell
Write back to HSBC and tell them this and that if they do not reconsider you will take this to FOS.
Can you get into a Barclays branch? if you can, take the letter,tell them you are not happy with the way this has been handled and you will be contacting the FOS,they sent you a letter with a reference on and they don't know anything!!!! the mind boggles :mad:0
