It's not going to be a NSD, as I'm waiting for the boiler man to come round to fix central heating (whilst wearing my thermals & three fleeces). But plan for the day: Make meals out of "fridge scrapings", post off spent ink cartridge for 100 clubcard points, paint bedroom...0

Today I have...
Sewn an old pair of trousers for work rather than putting them in the bin. And secured the buttons on my fav cardigan as they were starting to hang off a touch, rather than buy a new one.
Put my wages straight into the bank so I am not tempted to spend any.
After vowing to only buy one magazine a month (I use to have a 4 a week habit) I bought my february one issue yesterday and was totally bored by it and realised I havent missed it. So I shall buy no more magazines and just use the web for Mag info. So that will save me £3.20 a month in the future.
Update my spending/earning diary.
That's it so far.

Listed 3 more things on ebay (80 listed now) including the crib I've had for the last couple of children.. if I ever need one again I will buy another.. but I aren't certain I will.. plus I've kept the moses basket.. for now.
DH is doing some building work in the house instead of paying someone to do it.
Sorted some hand-me-downs for the other children.. that saved me a small fortune as I found 4 pairs of school trousers which my oldest daughter desperately needed!! .. (next ones £12.99 a pair I got about a year ago forv£5 a pair!)
Off to buy new knitting needles from charity shop rather than the wool shop.. should save 60p at least there! The saving can go in Blingda the shiny saving sow.

I applied for a new mobile through work - meaning i get tax relief on it. Im getting a brand new top of the range handset out of it and its going straight on ebay. 250 minutes and 750 text messages for £20 a month... could be a lot worse.0
