What small steps in the right direction will you be taking today?

I will be:

applying for a low LOB card to see if I can transfer a balance or two. will probably be rejected but if I don't try I won't know.

Trying for a NSD.

Reading through the matched betting thread again before I try my first one tomorrow :eek:

Ringing my old gym and council tax people to ask why they have taken payments at the end of jan/beginning of feb when they shouldnt have.

Will see what they can do about that

Must speak to my solicitor to make sure they compo cheque im due can be made out in to my married name as the claim was raised in my maiden name. I hope there isnt a problem as i provided them with my marriage certificate. Bit snookered if they cant... i dont have an account in that name anymore...

Shall also ring lloyds to see if they will accept it in to my account with lots of proof of ID & name changes!

Well I made my own lunch to bring to work ........ then left it in the fridge!

Not a good start to the day. Will have to spend miney in what's laughingly called our staff restauraunt!

Morning!

Today I have checked my cc balances against my snowball and found the interest rate must have gone up! So today, I will be contacting the uncooperative bank and the flavourless mint to find out what extortionate rate they have put them up to now.

I told a friend about claiming back charges, so I will send him some links and notes today. (hope he doesn't work out who I am on here!).

I'm aiming for a NSD, but I think I might find something nice for the OH as she's having a stressful time at work - MSE suggestions welcome, even thought she thinks this is some strange 'Cult of Martin' that I have joined

Well I'm on a day off so today is 'sorting out' day - loads of paperword to go through and shread - need go to bank and transfer money and ring CCCS for a review ,,,,,,,,,,,,um lots of other bits and bobs too but mainly all DFW !!

GTD, how about learning to give a decent shoulder massage for your OH - would def get rid of the stress and costs nothing except a bottle of oil from body shop or somewhere that lasts for ever?

Morning everyone - nearly the weekend!

I have just transferred some money into my high interest savings account and also paid £1000 off my 0% card (its my only credit card and I am hoping to clear this by end June 07!).

I have just got some mince out of the freezer and intend to make up some bolognaise tonight including three portions to freeze.

I will have a NSD today, but we are away this weekend, so its unlikely to be a cheap one!

ancasta, you just reminded me that I need to cancel a direct debit I had forgotten to do.....

Oh, and will be looking at savings accounts tonight to open jointly with OH. I got engaged at New Year and my Mum has given us a £100 cheque to pay into a joint account.
