Thanks so much for that OP. Was planning to pop to boots this weekend to get another mascara as mine has totally ran out!! Love the max factor mascara's and in my opinion they are much better than the premium brands. The points will come in very handy!!

I think this offer is only great if you are purchasing a mascara for £6.99 or £7.99 and paying £13.98 or £15.98 in total to receive the £15 in points.

The reason I say this is because the false lash effect mascara is on eBay for £4.00 buy it now. You would be paying £21.98 for three from Boots to receive £15 in points. The way I look at it is you are paying £10 more to receive £5 in points. Hope this makes sense.

If my maths is correct, if you were to purchase 3 mascaras from ebay it would cost you £12.... with or without postage included.

If you were to purchase the same 3 mascaras from boots, delivered to store it would cost you in theory... £21.98 - £15.00 back in points to spend on other things.... so £6.98.

The buy it now price is £4.00 with free postage so £12 for three mascaras.

As you say you pay £21.98 for three of the same mascara's in Boots and receive £15.00 back in points, so spending £6.98.

£6.98 is money you have spent on the mascara's, the points aren't free/a bonus as you have paid £15 in cash to have them back in adavantage card points.

Correct. So you are paying £0.98 for three mascara's. The £15 cash is money you have paid to have your cash back in points.


3 x £6.99 mascara's = £13.98 plus £15.00 back in points. The bonus is your getting the mascara's free plus an extra £1.02 back in points.
