TBH the Ebay sellers look valid as in they have other stock / brands of cosmetic items so seem to sell cosmetics wholesale anyway??

Really wanted to try this out today! Was thinking about it on Thursday but thought I don't really need more mascara. Now i wish I'd done it for the boost in points!

Went into my local store. Only had 1 in my hand and asked assistant if I would get 500 points. She said "get 3 and you get 1500 points". I was like "OMG. WOW. REALLY?" and put on a stellar "I really didn't know" performance. Got 6, points didn't go on. Went back to assistant. Senior assistant said offer was pulled last night, but as I had 6, they would put on the 3000 points. Was well chuffed. Also used 1 x 250 extra points wys £25 and 1 x 350 extra points wys £35. So 3600 points on a £35.50ish spend. Woohoo. Thanks OP.

Just a reminder to those who now are new to Bootsing who may now have £15 of points on their Boots card to treat it like money

If you have thought of the mascaras as "free" then the money isn't so don't mistakenly think "I'll buy it with my points so its essentially free" :rotfl::o

You cant have it both ways, you either had

free mascara with £15 refund onto your card which needs to be treated like real money

or

paid £15 for mascaras and have 1500 free points on your card which will give you free shopping

But if its points on your card its quite a good way of sneaking a treat past your OH by saying "I didnt buy it, I got it with my points"
