I just bought 9 of the £7.99 ones. I paid £47.94 and used a "spend over £40, get £4 worth of points" voucher.

My receipt tells me I took home £71.91 worth of Mascara.
I paid £47.94 on my credit card.
I earned £49 worth of points.

They paid me £1.06 to take it all away.

worked this morning at Trafford Centre. Masterpiece (gold packaging) 3 for just under £19 with 1500 points. Thanks OP.
Also used a 1/2 price Time Delay/Boots brands coupon (spit out from till on a previous transaction), products are already marked down 1/3 so I got a Night Cream for £3 ish.
Plus a £5 off when you spend £20. So lots of bargains.

I have a "150 points WYS £150 or more in a single transaction instore" till spit.

Has anyone else used this and still got the additional 1500 points, or am I just being greedy?

ETA: till spit says it can't be used in conjunction with other threshold spend coupons or storewide points events, so I guess that answers my question.

I'm so proud of myself, went into Boots today to get this offer, picked up 3 of the 2000 calorie mascaras, and then PUT THEM BACK DOWN AGAIN!!! I have at least 6 mascaras unopened in my drawer (mostly No 7 freebies) so don't need any more, and I'd have been spending £16 to get £15 back in points - why not just keep the cash instead of swopping it for points!!!
Different if you're actually going to make use of the mascaras, but for me it would have been a pointless spend! I'm learning.... slowly!!!

Give it a go though. Years of bootsing has taught me that these vouchers work together, despite t & c on the coupon, about 70% of the time. Of the remaining 30%, you often get a friendly sa manually adding the points on anyway 20% of the time. The other 9% you get a sa who smiles and points you to the t&c and remaining 1% grump at you about it as if you're taking cash from their own pockets. So give it a go :A

i bought 3 mascaras and 1 slimfast £18.97, used a £2 off from instore machine £16.97 and used a 150 points wys £15 so it will work
