Can I still claim?

I've currently made 2 successful PPI claims but I've just realised that may have a couple more. My mortgage on my first house was settled 6yrs ago this March, and a loan I had was settled in June 2005. I think both had PPI on them. Is it possible for PPI claims to be made on them?

Thanks Di for all your help on my other claims. Your advice was a massive help. So I'm going to take it again and go for it. At the end of the day you never know. :T
  • I can't seem to find my old mortgage or loan statements. I must have thrown them away when they were settled.
For the old mortgage the only thing I can find is my old roll number with the Halifax for the settlement figure when we was selling the old house.
For the loan all I can find is standing order payments on old bank statements.
Will this be enough to ask for a copy of the agreement?

Why would you need your mortgage statements? MPPI is paid via direct debit from your current account.

But that does not, of course, mean it was missold. In fact if it was paid by direct debit then it would be a monthly premium which makes a missale less likely.
  • I've found the account number of the loan on an old account history summary that HSBC used to issue. gonna give it a go. You never know, no pain no gain.
