They usually do interest free credit, but don't advertise it.

If you can order online 3% quidco too.

We bought our sofa from Klaussner. I am over the moon with it but it was very expensive, however the quality is amazing. We will have it for ever. I need to buy a sofa bed and I don't want to pay the same amount of money so will be trying to get a cheaper one from somewhere. Will watch your thread with interest

Yes well my experience with 'The Sofa Company' (a front for Klaussner) is entirely different.

They delivered a sofa suite with mismatched material panels so that it looked like two things stuck together. We had to go through a complete pick-up and re-covering situation to get it put right and had nothing to sit on in our lounge for three weeks. The build quality was quite good, though.

As a general warning, do NOT buy anything in light-coloured chenille fabric. When you sit on it, the pile is deflected and it looks darker, giving the impression of staining. The industry is aware of this problem but refuses to do anything about it, claiming it's actually a desirable feature!
  • Dont know if one of these are near enough for you, but they do have some quality bargains. You get what you see, so you know what the quality is etc. You have to pay for delivery, but if you know someone with a van you can collect yourself. Worth a look.

  • We went around sitting on a lot of sofas, ended up ordering from Furniture Village. We have not seen the same sofas around before or since, and we're still looking because we are after some oak furniture too. These sofas are leather recliners, not the cheapest but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO comfortable!!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Thanks for all the replies.

I think SofaSofa is the one for me, which is also Thomas Lloyd in disguise, which my wife actually liked the look of several years ago.

With £20 delivery, you can't go wrong !!

    Regards !

Now ! where can you buy the best bedroom furniture; drawers etc. possibly in white ??

    I've been Money Tipped!
One to avoid is World Furnishings of Gosforth. We had nothing but trouble from them. An absolute nightmare if anything goes wrong.
