Coming into money after dro

hello, advice needed!

I have a DRO 4 months into it, unexpectedly i may be recieving about 2k.

I want to know if i tell the IS how this will affect my DRO - i owed just over 12k when i took out the DRO so this money is not enough to clear any of my debts. Also i need about 1000 of it for heating oil and car service and taxman and NI - bills since DRO taken out.

Any advice?

Right after all my searching into getting a DRO myself this part is a big thing they emphasise on...

If you come into any money of a significant amount (like 2k) you have to declare it to the IS and their is a chance that your DRO would be revoked leaving you in a bit of trouble. Although I guess they would look at what you say its going too etc and maybe not... it would really be up in the air though.

Where is the 2k coming from? Can it be 'put off' for 12 months?

I'm not a debt advisor in anyway, but if you think about it, there are a lot of loop holes around this.....
