i know this sounds really dum.........but....ive never taken my car in one of these car wash things. Is it pretty easy to do?Do i have to do something with my ariel?

Just drive in and put the soft top down, far cheaper than a wash and blow dry from my stylist.

Has anyone just presented the front desk with the code or do they insist on a print out with the code on?

  • Up in the NorthWest & can either go to Birmingham or Scotland for my 50p wash...
Ah well, why have sons & not let them get soaked & soapy? If my car gets a bit cleaner, that's a bonus. :D
  • What is the approx time taken for a carwash at BP? Thanks.

i once went in with the code written down and they said they needed a printout, haven't tried having it sent to my phone but will next time

to termin8tor, it was quick i've never timed it but i'd say less than 10mins

Less than 10 minutes. They're not the best car washes in the world, but for 50p....

I'd hoped for a good under-car clean to get the salt and grime off following the snow - but no, it's just superficial bodywork wash.
