Two vehicle Insurance

Hi,

My husband is looking to insure his van and 4x4, he is only at home 6 months of the year as he works away from home so they dont get much use, he has been quoted pretty hefty insurance and wondered if he could insure both vehicles on one policy, he did phone two companies today be wise was one of them and they run a credit check without his permission and then quoted £560 for one vehicle, we normally pay our insurance in full so dont see why credit checks are necessary.

Any advise would be welcome.

They want to see if your the dodgy type and in debt and going to rip them off.

People with debts are like lepers with some companies it seems.

Only option is try every online comparison site, Every website thats not on the comparison websites
and then every local broker you can find.

Depends on age and NCB and does he have any points? Insurance is not cheap these days.
