PPI question...Virgin...

Hi Guys,
I've had a Virgin Credit Card for about 11 years, possibly a little less and since I've had it I've always had PPI on it. It's occured to me a few times I should look into this more so here I am, throwing myself at the mercy of you guys lol
So, with it being so long since I've had the card, am I too late to claim it back? what do I need to know if I can claim it back etc?
I think I tried to cancel it once before and told that I wasn't allowed to :S
any help would be greatly appreciated
Doug

Hi
I had my Virgin MBNA card for about 10 years I think and had indeed racked up a lot of PPI - I successfully claimed with them in December using the following reasons:
- I did not ask for this insurance, it was automatically applied to my account by a pre-ticked box meaning that MBNA did not assess the suitability of the policy for me and I was provided with no information to enable to make an informed decision as to whether the policy suited my needs or whether other third party policies would be more suitable
- I was not asked whether I already had any existing insurance or employer benefits that would cover my repayments
Good Luck!0
