Best place for mini bottles of wine?

Hi guys,

I'm doing some guest bags for the rooms of our wedding guests with things like tissues, paracetamols, crisps , bottled water and wanted a small bottle of wine and bottle of beer. Anyone know the best place to buy mini bottles of wine?

Have a look at both Home Bargains and B&M Stores if you have any near you for small bottles of wine.

Thanks both. Asda they're just a bit expensive for what they are, I guess your paying for the glass etc. I need to trek across Bradford to get to a decent HB or BandmM but guess it's worth the crowds if I get decent price!

I can't remember how much I paid, but I bought a little red in lidls and it was much better quality than what I usually get from the supermarket and it was a bigger bottle 250ml.

Tesco's. They normally do 2 mini bottles for £3. They also include the mini bottles when they have a 25% off all wine when you buy 6 bottles - both offers kick in and you can get some bargains at around 93p for a mini Jacobs Creek etc.

    Aldi are around £1.29 - £1.39 each.
davelewis is right though about the mutli buys working on the small bottles too. there best one was last year when a 6 bottle multibuy was kicking in alongside at 4 for £5 deal (or something like that). You could get small bottles for 66p each. Infact I still have some. Morrisons sometimes do multibuy deals on too. usually found on a stand at the end of the wine aisle
    The end is nigh

Totally agree about the Tesco multibuys. I am still drinking the small bottles from the last time it was on offer. Have you got the time to wait and see if there is an offer or is wedding soon?

Home Bargains are not actually that cheap, I was looking at them today and they are 3 for £4 so that doesn't even equate to a full bottle (mini bottles are 187.5 mls) not so long ago they used to do 250ml bottles for 99p but I haven't seen them for a while.
I agree about hanging on for Tesco / Sainsburys etc to do a 25% off 6 bottles deal, cos the double discount would kick in then :) xx
